Results That Impressed
Using this approach, Grok provided the correct partner recommendation over 80% of the time. The primary source of errors occurred when partners had recently left firms—understandable given the lag time in updating AI training data.
What made Grok particularly valuable was its ability to:

- Consider geographic preferences (some partners focus on international deals)

Alternative Tools Worth Exploring
While I haven’t personally tested it extensively, one of our clients reports excellent results using Google’s Gemini for similar VC research. It may be worth experimenting with multiple tools to find what works best for your specific needs.
